Yoga on a Chair contains two different 32 minute yoga classes. The classes use clear, easy-to-follow instructions to guide you through simple and effective hatha yoga postures that have been carefully adapted to be performed whilst seated on a chair.
Each Yoga on a Chair class starts with a short guided relaxation to focus the mind and prepare the body. Both then continue with a number of different adapted gentle postures and movements before concluding with a longer guided relaxation section.
The classes are ideal for those with restricted movement and those recovering from illness or injury. They will gently calm the mind and release tension from the body leaving you feeling relaxed and refreshed.
Yoga on a Chair is accompanied by a free PDF visual reference guide booklet that highlights the instruction and gives a series of photos for each posture as well as tips on how to get the most from the classes.
