Chakra Yoga Vol. 2 is a 50 minutes guided yoga class, suitable for those with knowledge of basic yoga practices. This class naturally progresses from Chakra Yoga Vol. 1.
It has been devised to help balance and cleanse the chakras and increase awareness between the physical body and the energetic body.
The energy that travels around the body is known as prana; prana is our vital life force and is also the universal energy. Prana is something shared and experienced by all, it creates the bond between us and the entire universe.
Prana travels around the body through a network of energy channels known as Nadis. In certain locations the prana becomes denser and spins in a clockwise direction. These are the chakras. To help us maintain good health physically and emotionally. It is important that energy does not become stagnant or spin too fast.
This yoga class will help to balance and cleanse the chakras and encourage pranic energy to travel freely around the body.
The postures included in this class have been carefully selected to stimulate the seven main chakras that are positioned between the base of the spine and the crown of the head. The class combines yoga postures and visualisation techniques to direct awareness towards the chakras helping to balance and cleanse them.
