Diploma in Teaching Yoga
Yoga 2 Hear are excited to announce the launch of their new Teacher Training Course.
Creating this course has taken years of research, planning, writing, recording and commitment. I first started planning this course in 2014, it became apparent that many teacher training courses were not catering for people with existing commitments. Many courses require residential attendance which is not always possible or the student needs to attend workshops and classes on set dates. This instantly makes these teacher training courses impossible for some potential teachers to enrol on. I know myself as a Mother, when my children were small if you do not have childcare or your partner is unable to take time off work then attending a course or a workshop is just not possible.
So I created a flexible online teacher training course that provides in-depth training to create confident and versatile yoga teachers. Over the years I have been involved in many teacher training courses both as a writer and a lead teacher. I wanted to create something different to the standard 200 hour course. Having taught Yoga myself since 1995 and attending workshops and courses all over the globe, I felt that it was important to draw on all my experience to create the best teacher training course that I possibly could, with a priority of making the accessible and affordable.
This past year has provided the perfect opportunity to work long hours to put all my notes and research together to create the Yoga 2 Hear Diploma in Teaching Yoga.
The course can be followed in your own time, start and finish when you like. The course is delivered via ten progressive modules each one moves a little deeper into the practice, it includes history and philosophy, ancient practices, anatomy and philosophy and how to teach and format your classes plus so much more. View the full syllabus for the course. With each module you receive a guide booklet, audio practices and lessons, posture breakdowns and an assessment. It is also necessary to attend private 1-1 sessions and tutorials with me throughout your training.
This course excelled in the International education standards of the globally recognised World Yoga Alliance and is certified by them as a 300 Hour Online Yoga Teacher Training Course. Yoga 2 Hear are approved as a CIMSPA (Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity) Training Provider and Education Partner. This provides all Yoga 2 Hear training courses with a powerful internationally recognised ‘stamp of approval’.
Successful completion of the course permits entry to the World Yoga Association as a Registered Teacher of Yoga and also The Yoga Alliance Professionals.
