The classes in this section have been devised specifically to strengthen and bring awareness to the inner and outer muscles of the torso, lumbar spine, pelvis, abdominal area, gluteus muscles and hamstrings that together form the core and greater core areas.
Core muscles respond well to slow controlled movements so yoga is the perfect way to strengthen them. By strengthening the core muscles we are able to move with greater efficiency, increase stability and improve posture which brings many benefits.
Both classes uses clear, easy-to-follow instructions combined with different atmospheric background music tracks to form practical and effective yoga sessions.
The classes are available on CD and MP3 Download. Both versions are accompanied by a guide booklet that highlights the instructions and gives a series of reference photos for each yoga posture.

Introduction to Core Yoga (2008) is a 25 minute class that has been devised for those with little or no previous experience of yoga. The class uses expert tuition to introduce and guide you through 6 simple but effective yoga postures that focus on the core muscles. The class then concludes with a guided relaxation section.
The class will strengthen and bring awareness to the deep muscles of the lumbar spine, pelvis and abdominal areas which together form the core muscles.

Core Yoga (2008) is a 60 minute class suitable for those with previous yoga experience.
It has been devised to strengthen and bring awareness to the muscles that make up the greater core area. These include the inner and outer muscles of the torso, lumbar spine, pelvis, glutial muscles and the hamstrings.
The class uses expert tuition to guide you through 19 postures including Downward Facing Dog on the forearms and Dolphin before it concludes with a guided relaxation.
